Stephen Biggam has been with Marshall Wilson since 2002, he is a Solicitor Advocate who specialises solely in Criminal Defence law.
Stephen graduated from the University of Glasgow with an Honours Degree in Law and a Diploma in Legal Practice, he then graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a Masters Degree in Law by Research in Jurisprudence. He completed his Legal Traineeship in Criminal Defence work in Edinburgh and Falkirk and thereafter was engaged exclusively in Criminal defence work in private practice in Lanarkshire.
Stephen has also worked as a Procurator Fiscal depute based in Stirling, Alloa, Falkirk and Glasgow. He was also employed in the Office of the Solicitor to the Scottish Executive providing legal advice to the Criminal Justice Department on Criminal Law, procedure and Criminal and Community Justice issues. Stephen has also been involved in drafting and instructing legislation in respect of such matters.
Stephen deals solely with Criminal Defence work within the firm and his position as Solicitor Advocate allow him to have extended rights of audience within the High Court.

CIVIL LAW, EMPLOYMENT LAW AND FAMILY LAW
Fiona Munn specialises in Family Law including Divorce and all aspects of Civil Court work as well as being a specialist in Employment Law.
Fiona began her traineeship with Marshall Wilson in 1991 after having studied at Strathclyde University. Fiona specialises in all aspects of family law work and employment law as well as handling Wills, Powers of Attorney and Guardianships and is regularly appointed by the Court to carry out reports in family law cases.

Malcolm Thomson specialises in Conveyancing and all aspects of Family Law.
Malcolm has been with Marshall Wilson since graduating from Edinburgh University with a Degree in Law and a Diploma in Legal Practice. After joining the firm in 1987, he completed his traineeship and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1989, becoming an Assistant, then Associate, finally becoming a Partner in the firm in 1993.
Malcolm specialises in all aspects of Conveyancing, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Guardianships and Adoption. He is regularly appointed by the Court to report in family cases. A large proportion of Malcolm’s work is in Conveyancing, where he is assisted by Paralegal Karen Thomson who has been with the firm for more than 15 years.
CIVIL LAW AND FAMILY LAW
Brian Travers is experienced in a wide range of civil law areas, in particular contractual disputes, reparation, debt recovery and family law.
Brian graduated in Law in 1995 following a career in Business and Sales and a degree in Economics. He joined Marshall Wilson as a Partner in 2007 having been a Partner in two other firms.
PARALEGALS AND TRAINEES
Emma Rarity - Trainee
Emma Rarity will be staying with Marshall Wilson after she completes her traineeship in June. Emma currently carries out work in family law, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship, conveyancing and criminal law.
Tracey O’Brien – Paralegal and Law Accountant
Our Executry work is handled by our Executry Manager Tracey O’Brien who is a qualified paralegal and Law Accountant. Tracey has been with the firm for 10 years.
Karen Thomson – Paralegal
Paralegal Karen Thomson specialises in Conveyancing and has been with Marshall Wilson for more than 15 years but has more than 30 years’ experience in this sector.
